摘要: Bronchoalveolar washings (BAW) were obtained from rats primarily infected with N. brasiliensis during the early infection stage that coincides lung passage of parasite and recruitment inflammatory cells. BAW tested for IL-1, IL-6 tumour necrosis factor (TNF) activities. We found IL-1 production occurred only on day 1 post ceased thereafter. activity was present as a maximum 3 then returned to its normal levels 5 infection. TNF not recovered in at any time Results vitro culture BAW-adherent cells demonstrated but also large amounts produced spontaneously, whereas continuously released. Bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) stimulation cell resulted an amplification cytokine production. Our results suggest pulmonary cytokines detected least part by alveolar macrophages. Furthermore, kinetics show these monokines are induced different times course infection, suggesting may follow regulation patterns phase
