摘要: Bone quality is important for the success of joint prostheses implantation, and assessment bone density after total knee arthroplasty by means dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry may be useful monitoring implant stability. The aim this study to suggest a validated analysis protocol status arthroplasty. A dedicated densitometric five regions interest was designed, 10 subjects who had received an uncemented prosthesis (8 females 2 males, aged 55–74 years) underwent three consecutive scans in posteroanterior lateral projections, with repositioning each scan test suitability reproducibility protocol. measurement mineral content femoral tibial ranged, respectively, from 2.1% 4.1%, 0.9% 2.6% scans, 2.7% 5.6% 2.3% 4.7% depending on considered region. Our results confirm that suggested allows precise density, reliable evaluation mass around prosthetic implants.
