摘要: Abstract The presence of papillomavirus particles was documentd by electron microscopy in atypical squamous epithelium the cervix, vagina, and vulva, cells derived therefrom four women with compromised immune status who were being followed our clinics. Three patients had treated Hodgkin's disease, one a dermatologic disorder, perhaps akin to epidermodysplasia verruciformis. Initially, all developed treatment-resistant condylomata acuminata vulva adjacent areas. Subsequently, shown harbor vagina focus markedly epithelium, flat condyloma. Two other patients, for several years, multiple epidermoid carcinomas situ affecting vulva. In these two latter disease progressed foci superficially invasive carcinoma. possible role human genesis lesions is discussed.
