摘要: End stage renal disease (ESRD) can cause malfunction of multiple organs, including auditory and vestibular systems. During recent years, a significant amount research has demonstrated the direct involvement otolith organs in stabilizing body gaze which led to development specific functional tests. Stable are more important patients with ESRD, as they have an increased risk bone fracture. The aim this study was investigate saccule related neural pathways haemodialysed chronic failure. Twenty (40 ears) ESRD were tested for evoked myogenic potentials (VEMP). Results compared those 16 healthy controls (32 ears). VEMP response significantly different between subjects ESRD. There difference presence absence waves patient when creatinine levels.
