摘要: • Twenty-six hemodialysis and renal transplant patients were studied for the effects of age, duration kidney failure, amounts types treatment, disturbed calcium metabolism, vascular disease on clinical pathologic inner ear manifestations. Three subgroups compared with each other: (1 ) those having hearing loss unknown etiology, (2) strial deposits, (3) neither. Severity treatment was not necessarily predictive severity disease. Within subgroup there wide variability almost complete overlap factors when three groups compared. Cochlear deposits seem to bear little relationship metabolism or disease, but their size may be related presence loss. ( Arch Otolaryngol 106:567-572, 1980)
