摘要: To investigate the impact of dietary intervention on Advanced Glycation End products (AGEs) intake hormonal and metabolic profile in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). After baseline evaluation, 23 PCOS [mean±SD, age: 23.4±5.7 years; body mass index (BMI): 26±5.7 kg/m2] underwent following consecutive 2-month regimens: a hypocaloric diet ad-libitum AGEs content (Hypo), an isocaloric high (HA) low (LA). Metabolic, oxidative stress status was assessed levels were determined all subjects after completion each intervention. Serum AGEs, testosterone, stress, insulin HOMA-IR significantly increased HA compared to Hypo subsequently decreased LA (compared HA) (p<0.05 for parameters). BMI remained unaltered throughout periods period. strongly correlated insulin, as well HOMA, during period (r = 0.53, p 0.02 r=0.51, 0.03, respectively). For same period, (rho 0.49, 0.04). Modifications are associated parallel changes serum metabolic, biomarkers PCOS. These novel findings support recommendations along lifestyle
