摘要: DNA polymerase activity was measured in mouse embryos at stages before implantation to determine whether it increases proportion the amount of synthesis, as does populations differentiated mammalian cells, or remains constant, early sea urchin embryos. Total enzyme found be relatively unchanged following fertilization and first few cleavage stages. However, between 12- 120-cell (blastocyst) stage, increased by several-fold. These results indicate that relationship synthesis exhibits two phases: phase is similar embryos, whereas, blastocyst phase, cells.
