摘要: To solve the contradiction between UHV transmission line's over-voltage limitation strategy and its reactive power compensation strategy, China plans to apply controllable shunt reactors in system. The paper briefly introduces system using reactors. structure basic operating principle of is described. Through analyzing characteristic shun mechanism secondary arc current, two strategies are proposed suppress current with Their applicability analyzed by simulation on China's planned project result shows that, when neutral point connects ground through a fixed reactor, switching capacity maximum single phase fault happens, can be suppressed effectively.
