Normal-state reflectivity and superconducting energy-gap measurement of La2-xSrxCuO4.

摘要: We measure the reflectivity of pure and doped polycrystalline La/sub 2-//sub x/Sr/sub x/CuO/sub 4/ in gap region up to 40,000 cm/sup -1/(approx. =5 eV). For sample we analyze terms a superposition metallic a-b plane component nearly insulating c-axis with ordinary phonons. This approach removes several unphysical results obtained assuming homogeneous surface allows agreement between measured infrared dc properties, which has not been previously obtained. further indicates that our signature is dominated by contribution insensitive plane. estimate be 2..delta..approx. =2k/sub B/T/sub c/, small compared both isotropic BCS prediction tunnelling measurements.
