摘要: The histone variant H2A.Z is a hallmark of nucleosomes flanking promoters protein-coding genes and often found in that carry lysine 56-acetylated H3 (H3-K56Ac), mark promotes replication-independent nucleosome turnover. Here, we find H3-K56Ac RNA polymerase II occupancy at many noncoding loci, yet neither nor has significant impact on steady-state mRNA levels yeast. Instead, broad effects or RNA levels are revealed only the absence nuclear exosome. also necessary for expression divergent, promoter-proximal RNAs (ncRNAs) mouse embryonic stem cells. Finally, show functions with to facilitate formation chromosome interaction domains (CIDs). Our study suggests work concert exosome control ncRNA expression, perhaps part by regulating higher-order chromatin structures.
