摘要: In a previous study, extraocular muscle proprioception (E.O.M.P.) was shown to play an important role in the postnatal development of depth perception: following unilateral or bilateral sections ophthalmic branch trigeminal nerve (V1th nerve) performed at 6-8 weeks age, binocular thresholds were 2 3 times higher than control animals. Since V1-sections produced no deficits when adults, temporal limits period susceptibility remained be determined. order assess lower and upper during which these perceptual could induced, kittens different ages. Depth perception measured by using jumping stand technique. Sections V1 only significant impairments after age. They observed up 13 age with 10 These functional appeared remain permanently through adult life.
