摘要: Abstract Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) is a well-known biocompatible polymer employed for many applications in the biomedical field. In this study, biocompatibility and versatility of PDMS was tested setting up microdevice devoted to purification analysis nucleic acids. The demonstrated successfully fulfill all requirements genetic analyses such as genotyping pathogen DNA identification both multiplex real-time PCR, suggesting possibility carry out molecular test directly on-chip. Moreover, applied detection disease biomarkers, microRNAs related cancer or heart disease. On-chip microRNA starting from clinically relevant samples, i.e. plasma, serum, tissue biopsies. Significantly, transcription into cDNA occur same chamber, saving time labor overall analysis. Again, confirmed notable candidate compact, rapid, easy-to-use tests.
