摘要: In Liquid Composite Molding (LCM), resin impregnates the fiber preform and it subsequently cures to form composite part. The curing phenomenon is an exothermic process, requires optimization of mold heating profile reduce cure cycle time cure-induced thermal stress in To optimize control cycle, necessary obtain kinetic parameters, which are usually measured offline by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) or Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. These parameters from neat sometimes vary substantially due presence sizing handling and, hence, LCM can be different one batch another. this paper, a model-based fitting technique presented characterize kinetics during its accuracy studied numerically then validated with experiments. A non-isothermal simulation part performed based on given set targets model. Genetic Algorithm used determine matching simulated temperature field guessed history actually experienced An uncertainty reading, happens real measurement control, introduced evaluate stability characterization respect various periods stage. Since will affect characterization, influence wall also investigated. numerical results show that, appropriately choosing able enhance within reduced period. Hence, may reserve more for subsequent online cycle. experimental study validate direct method using Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer (VARTM) process.
