摘要: The co-occurrence of psychotic and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) symptoms represents an important clinical challenge. Here we consider this problem in the context a computational psychiatry approach that has been applied to both conditions—predictive coding. Some schizophrenia have explained terms failure top–down predictions or enhanced weighting bottom–up prediction errors. Likewise, similar perturbations. We suggest theoretical overlap may explain overlapping symptomatology. Experimental evidence highlights meaningful distinctions consistencies between these disorders. hypothesize individuals with ASD experience some degree delusions without presence any additional impairment, but hallucinations are likely indicative distinct process.
