摘要: The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect increasing atmospheric concentration carbon dioxide on plant growth and leaf rust severity (caused by Hemileia vastatrix ) coffee ( Coffea arabica ). 'Obata IAC 1669‑20' 'Catuai Vermelho IAC 144' cultivars, moderately resistant susceptible disease, respectively, were used. treatments consisted 400 508 μmol mol ‑1 atmospheric CO 2 , in two types open-top chambers (OTC). Plants grown OTCs with addition showed increased area, rate height stem diameter, comparison plants ambient concentration; however, cultivars did not differ for leaf‑wax content.
