摘要: Objective: To investigate the effects of estrogen on left ventricle (LV) mass and collagen deposition, expression receptors for (ERα, ERβ) Ang II (AT2R, AT1R) in heart aged female rats. Methods: Aged (∼12 months old) intact ( n =7), ovariectomized plus placebo (OVX, estrogen-replaced (E2, =6) as well young (∼3 old, =4) Sprague–Dawley rats were used this study. After 1 month treatment, ventricular weight/body weight ratio (LVW/BW), changes myosin heavy chain (MHC), matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-2 activity, I/III ratio, ERs LV evaluated. Results: In rats, OVX increased LVW/BW associated with a higher β-MHC isoform, decreased MMP-2 activity compared to Furthermore, group had decrease α β AT2R but an increase AT1R expression. Estrogen replacement prevented ovariectomy remodeling further ERβ Conclusion: Removal ovarian hormones rat, which could be attenuated by replacement. Moreover, regulation receptor mechanism may modulate remodeling.
