摘要: A study of the activity and durability two different copper chromite catalysts in methane combustion is presented. The catalysts, a massive (CAT-E) supported (CAT-I) chromite, were characterized by techniques order to investigate morphological properties (N2 adsorption), crystalline structure (X-ray diffraction, XRD) surface composition photoelectron spectroscopy, XPS). Among phases identified, CuCr2O4 spinel represented common phase both catalysts. CrVI/CrIII ratio was almost same for while CuII/CuI much higher on catalyst than one. CH4 studied temperature range 300-700°C at constant CH4:air 1:30 content, 1.2%. CAT-I CAT-E showed better stability. kinetic from catalytic data, collected contact times interval 0.047-0.315 s as function temperature, provided value about 110 kJ/mol activation energy. This obtained various degrees converted reaction rates between 10-3 10-4 (molCH4)conv/(g h) 550-700°C,
