摘要: Plant defense responses against pathogens often involve the restriction of pathogen to its site penetration achieved through combined effects hypersensitive response (HR) and tightly connected localized acquired resistance (LAR). The tobacco DD9-3 expressed sequence tag was previously isolated from a screen designed isolate genes induced early during HR, thus potentially involved in induction/regulation HR or LAR. Translation open reading frame revealed leucine-rich repeat (LRR) domain highly homologous with receptor kinase, suggesting potential function signaling pathways. full-length cDNA cloned. It encodes small (232 amino acids) LRR protein, designated Nicotiana tabacum protein 1 (NtLRP1), containing signal peptide, four leucine zipper repeats, five C-terminal rich proline. NtLRP1 expression is initiated by elicitins, Ralstonia solana...
