摘要: Nasopharyngeal secretions obtained from 94 children with acute respiratory illness were examined for the presence of syncytial virus (RSV), adenovirus, and influenza type A by culturing (virus isolation technique [VIT]), immunofluorescence assay (IFA), enzyme-linked immunosorbent (ELISA). Similar results in at least two tests RSV, A, adenovirus 92 (97.9%), 88 (93.6%), (93.6%) cases, respectively. Both rapid detection methods showed good specificity diagnosis these infections (greater than or equal to 90.7%) more sensitive was VIT RSV detection. In a accurate statistical analysis, indexes agreement between ELISA substantial (kappa = 0.69; zeta 5.5; P less 0.0001), 0.67; 5.3; 0.71; 6.0; while it almost perfect when compared IFA 0.88; 5.7; 0.0001). Although observed comparison three viruses (89%0, moderate (K 0.55; Z 2.0;
