摘要: Context: Cassia fistula Linn. (Caesalpiniaceae) has been used in folk medicine. Anthraquinone derivative rhein having antimicrobial properties is actively present C. fruit. Although, as yet there no study of its anticandidal potential.Objective: The was conducted to determine the phytochemical composition fruit pulp and seed extract their effect on Candida albicans ATCC 10261, glabrata 90030 tropicalis 750, respectively.Materials methods: The extracts were tested for phytochemicals by various standard methods identified thin-layer chromatography.
