摘要: Cassia fistula (Aragvadhah) is an important drug used in the Indian system of medicine. It a medium sized deciduous tree with long and cylindrical fruits containing pulp also bright yellow coloured flower. The found throughout India all forests hilly tracts. present article gives account updated information on its phytochemical pharmacological properties. review reveals that wide numbers constituents have been isolated from plant which possesses activities like antiperiodic, diuretic, purgative, laxative, antiasthmatic, hepatoprotective, anti-allergic various other medicinal properties.Phytochemical Pharmacological reviews plants will give valuable assist scientists getting more advanced knowledge about species.
