摘要: It is well established that genetic factors contribute to bone turnover and density. Evidence exists suggesting a major part of this influence may be due polymorphisms in the vitamin D receptor (VDR) gene. However, it not clear whether VDR genotype effect persists elderly women. In present study, relationship between BsmI, ApaI, TaqI gene, mineral density (BMD) at lumbar spine, femoral neck (FN), proximal radius was investigated large group women (75.5 +/- 5.0 years) Caucasian origin 84 Type I osteoporotic (66.6 8.4 years). We did find correlation genotypes BMD significantly higher FN-BMD observed obese (body mass index [BMI] > 30 kg/m2) versus nonobese (BMI < (p 0.01). This for all BsmI genotypes. Furthermore, with bb 5% than BB = 0.04). conclude gene postmenopausal second possible correlations osteoporosis were analyzed. Our data could reveal any association these parameters.
