摘要: Background: Recognition of the importance early diagnosis and aggressive, definitive surgical intervention has brought about a dramatic decline in mortality related to distal esophageal perforation. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed all cases thoracic perforation diagnosed at our hospital from September 1, 1979, through April 2001. The study group consisted 62 patients (43 men) with mean age 58.8 years (range, 20-92 yr). Results: In 39 (≤24 h), survival was 87%, which increased 93% when combined aggressive treatment. Among 23 late (>24 approached 70%. Yet, who were treated aggressively surgery, almost 90% despite delayed diagnosis. Conclusion: recommend surgery for perforations, whether or late. A variety options are discussed regard complicated presentations.
