摘要: The evolution of minimally invasive endovascular technology has initiated a significant paradigm shift in the treatment vascular disease. A fundamental understanding science and engineering behind stents is key to their appropriate implementation practice. Furthermore, rapid influx new devices into field requires practitioners make decisions on foundation relative strengths weaknesses various products. Although principles use are not complex, device design can have profound effect device's functionality. Shape, thickness, coating, material selection, imaging just few factors consider stent design. Subtle differences may results. This review designed provide reader with an overview concepts that will aide assessment technology.
