摘要: We investigated the effects of water extracts unripe black raspberry (UBR) and red ginseng (RG) on cholesterol synthesis, 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl (HMG)-CoA reductase activity, expression low-density lipoprotein (LDL) or high-density (HDL)-related genes in HepG2 Caco-2 (human hepatoma intestinal cell lines, respectively). Our results showed that synthesis HMG-CoA activity cells were inhibited by UBR RG. Further, co-treatment with RG had a greater effect than did treatment either In cells, increased LDL-regulated genes, such as LDL receptor SREBP-2, also upregulated level HDL-associated ABCA1. Moreover, appeared to be more effective Taken together, our indicate regulate ABCA1 via signaling pathway, thereby preventing synthesis.
