摘要: Among glioma treatment strategies, antiangiogenesis emerges as a meaningful and feasible approach for inducing long-term survival. Isthmin is gene highly expressed in the isthmus of midbrain–hindbrain organizer Xenopus, has recently been identified novel angiogenesis inhibitor. However, potential isthmin on not well studied. In present study, we demonstrated that recombinant adenovirus (Ad-isthmin) could inhibit VEGF-stimulated endothelial cell proliferation induce apoptosis through caspase-dependent pathway. addition, Ad-isthmin significantly suppressed growth without apparent side effects. Taken together, our results act inhibitor might be utilized therapy.
