摘要: We have previously synthesized silver-containing hydroxyapatite (Ag-HAp) powders by an ultrasonic spray-pyrolysis (USSP) technique. On the other hand, we successfully fabricated novel calcium-phosphate cements (CPCs) composed of mainly β-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) phase with anti-washout property (hereafter, β-TCP cement), which was set on basis chelate-bonding ability inositol (IP6). In this study, developed CPCs both anti-bacterial and properties adding Ag-HAp powder into above cements, examined their cytotoxicity. The Ag contents 0, 2, 5 mol% as a nominal composition were USSP raw for cement prepared ball-milling commercially-available in IP6 solution. Ag-HAp/β-TCP mixing at ratio 25:75 mass. above-mentioned 2.5 mass% Na2HPO4 solution powder/liquid 1/0.3 [g/cm3]. resulting evaluated using Staphylococcus aureus biofilm formation test. containing 2 showed strong among specimens. Furthermore, cytotoxicity Ag+ ion eluted from these also osteoblastic MC3T3-E1 cells Transwell® kit. relative cell viability cultured each Ag-containing specimen over 80 %, compared control (polystyrene plate). These results demonstrate that present are promising one candidates biocompatibility.
