The political lacuna in participatory systems design

摘要: This paper critiques three prominent information systems (IS) contributions to the development of social (work) systems, namely ETHICS, UTOPIA and Multiple Perspectives. They are based on socio-technical Quality Working Life generally rely design for improving working conditions by allowing employees appreciate a holistic work experience, instead being treated as cog in profit-making machinery capitalism.
