摘要: Microalgae are considered one of the best candidates for biofuel production due to their high content in neutral lipids, therefore, an accurate quantification these lipids microalgae is fundamental identification better as biodiesel source. Nile red a fluorescent dye widely employed microalgae. Usually, fluorescence intensity stained samples correlated lipid determined with standard methods, order draw curve and deduce concentration unknown positioning values on curve. Standard methods used determination laborious often implying solvent extraction and/or other transformation (i.e. saponification or transesterification) sample. These also time consuming may give rise underestimation variable yields. The approach described this paper combines addition method fluorometric staining using red, avoiding association traditional determination. After optimization instrument parameters conditions, linear correlation between each sample its deduced was identified. obtained allowed direct maintaining linearity range from 0.12 12 μg per ml sample, without need pre-concentration. This then culture Skeletonema marinoi (Bacillariophyceae) at different days inoculum. successfully applied Chaetoceros socialis Alexandrium minutum (Dinophyceae).
