摘要: The growth, via Ostwald ripening, of O/W miniemulsions (formed from pentan-1-ol, sodium dodecyl sulphate, and water) has been investigated using a turbidimetric technique. It was found that the ripening rate linearly dependent upon interfacial tension within emulsion below CMC surfactant, as predicted by LSW theory for ripening.
