摘要: Niche breadths in animal and plant populations are often measured without regard to the relative frequencies of various resources available organisms. Recent papers have provided more accurate indices for use when can be quantified. These may lack wide applicability or simple biological interpretations. We suggest that niche breadth defined as degree similarity between frequency distribution used by members a population them. Similarity quantified with familiar Proportional (PS) Index. This index, which measures objectively two distributions, reflects satisfactory fashion population's niche. See full-text article at JSTOR
