摘要: Abstract Planar light waveguides prepared by Ag–Na ion exchange in molten salt bath are irradiated with Nd:YAG laser beams at different wavelengths the IR and VIS regions, for energy density repetition rate values. The samples characterized optical spectroscopy to determine role of irradiation parameters Ag clustering process, including aggregation phenomena possible cluster photofragmentation. appearance characteristic plasmon resonance feature absorption spectra marks formation clusters, as observed electronic microscopy well, permits follow evolution whole process upon increasing deposited density. Photoluminescence has given specific information concerning presence multimeric aggregates, considered embryonic structures growing nanoclusters. systematic investigation presented this work is expected clarify some aspects interaction between beam doped glass matrix, help establishing suitable methodologies controlled preparation nanocomposite glasses.
