摘要: Purpose To assess the utility of Radiation Therapy Oncology Group Recursive Partitioning Analysis (RPA) and Score Index for Radiosurgery (SIR) stratification systems in predicting survival patients with brain metastasis treated Gamma Knife radiosurgery (GKRS). Methods Materials A total 185 were included study. Patients stratified according to RPA SIR classes. The classes, age, Karnofsky Performance Status (KPS), systemic disease correlated survival. Results Five lost follow-up. Median Class 1 (30 patients) was 17 months; 2 (140 patients), 10 3 (10 months. (135 8 (15 20 In univariate testing, age younger than 65 years ( p = 0.0004), KPS higher 70 0.0001), class 0.0078), 0.0002), control primary tumor 0.02) significantly associated improved outcome. multivariate analysis, 0.0008), 0.03) had statistical value. Conclusions This study supports use GKRS as a single-treatment modality this selected group patients. Stratification are useful estimation patient eligibility GKRS. second-line treatment necessary 30% achieve distal or local control. strategy is long-surviving
