摘要: Abstract Purpose: To select a group of patients with brain metastases for whom stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) may not be beneficial. Patients, Materials, and Methods: Actuarial survival 87 treated SRS between July 1993 May 1999 was retrospectively analyzed under stratification by the Score Index Stereotactic Radiosurgery Brain Metastases (SIR). identify most likely to survive less than 6 months after SRS, Cox model curves were calculated all SIR values, Kaplan–Meier two subsets (0–5 6–10) compared log–rank test. Results: Overall median 6.88 months. The into sustained statistical significance regarding p = 0.0001. time 0 5 4.52 (95% confidence interval 2.82 5.84 months). Survival probability at this poor prognosis 35.6%. Conclusion: Patients or lower have an expected treatment radiosurgery. Thus, beneficial patients.
