摘要: Abstract The biochemical basis for the action of glucocorticoids on lymphoid tissue has been studied using cell suspensions cortisol-sensitive and -resistant lines lymphosarcoma P1798. Comparison these tumors indicated that exposure to physiological doses produces a significant inhibition thymidine-3H incorporation into tumor DNA uniformly labeled glucose-14C uptake only in sensitive line. Using 2-deoxy-d-glucose-1-14C, it was found cortisol causes an or phosphorylation this analogue. Impairment glucose is within 1 hour at time greater than thymidine DNA. When omitted from medium, reduced by 80 90%, under conditions inhibitory half seen complete medium. Omission amino acids incubation medium resulted 50% decrease whole cells also produced cortisol. These findings provide additional support concept energy utilization may be significance mediating tissues.
