摘要: During pregnancy, the fetus represents a natural allograft that is not normally rejected. While maternal immune system retains ability to respond foreign antigens, tolerance mechanisms are up-regulated protect from immunologic attacks by mother. The profound adaptations during and after pregnancy do influence autoimmune rheumatic diseases in several ways. One triggering onset of disease post partum period, other influencing activity established disease. review will discuss increased susceptibility rheumatoid arthritis (RA) first year with specific emphasis on role fetal cells or antigens persisting circulation (so called microchimerism). Furthermore, different influences be highlighted. A marked beneficial effect observed RA whereas as ankylosing spondylitis (AS) systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) show either no particular an aggravation symptoms pregnancy. Differences emerging regard modulation seem related response hormones, type cytokine profile prevailing well further downstream interactions molecular pathways important pathogenesis.
