摘要: Astragaloside IV (AS-IV), one of the major active compounds extracted from Astragali Radix, has been used experimentally for its potent antiinflammatory and immunoregulatory activities. In this study, we further investigate potential efficacy AS-IV on impaired wound healing in streptozotocin-induced diabetic mice. A full-thickness skin was produced back mice treated with or vehicle topically. Our results showed that application promoted repair wounds gaping narrower exhibiting augmented reepithelialization. enhanced collagen deposition expression extracellular matrix (ECM)-related genes such as fibronectin IIIa, which implies a direct effect synthesis. also improved new blood vessel formation tissue increased numbers endothelial cells VEGF vWF. Moreover, beneficial related to development polarized alternatively activated macrophages, involved resolution inflammation facilitation repair. All together, these findings suggest may play maintenance cutaneous homeostasis acceleration healing.
