摘要: Biodegradation of organic substances by attached bacteria on biological activated carbon (BAC) was studied to clarify the advantages granular (GAC) as a support medium over conventional without adsorption capacity with regard biodegradation activity and community structure bacteria. Anthracite (AN) used reference adsorbability. Low molecular different biodegradability adsorbability (phenol, benzoic acid, glucose m-aminobenzoic acid) were fed into completely mixed BAC AN reactors. The rates reactors biodegradable approximately 3 times high those difference in onto GAC had little effect rate biodegradation. m-Aminobenzoic acid low degraded only reactor. micro macro pores did not provide better habitat for size population comparison pores. Bacterial floras probably from anthracite. Therefore bacterial stimulated each bacterium increase change species composition.
