摘要: Growing evidence suggests that one of the earliest events in neuronal degeneration Alzheimer's disease (AD) is aberrant cell-cycle activation postmitotic neurons, which may, fact, be sufficient to initiate neurodegenerative cascade. In present study we examined whether cyclins and cyclin-dependent kinases, molecules normally associated with control, may involved delayed expression altered proteins two interconnected areas, entorhinal cortex (EC) dentate gyrus (DG), after a hippocampal excitotoxic lesion. Several G1 S phases even G2 phase were found up-regulated EC kainic acid evoked death hippocampus. addition, describe progressive Alzheimer's-related proteins, PHF-1 APP, reached higher levels immediately increase G1/S-phase markers. Hence, results support participation dysregulation as key component process ultimately lead AD brain area when target site for synaptic inputs damaged by an insult. © 2007 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
