摘要: The high mortality rates associated with cancer reflect the metastatic spread of tumor cells from site their origin. Metastasis, in fact, is cause 90% deaths. Therefore, considerable effort being made to inhibit metastasis. In present study, we screened ketotifen for anti-migratory and anti-invasive activities against MDA-MB-231 breast HT-1080 fibrosarcoma cells. Cancer cell migration invasion were measured using multi-well chambers. Additionally, western blots used examine effects on expressions CDC42, Rho, Rac, matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP-9). results showed that dose-dependently suppressed Ketotifen also which, significantly, are involved migration. Moreover, expression activity MMP-9, which degradation extracellular leading invasion. overall data suggested suppresses via inhibition MMP-9 expression.
