摘要: Electrochemotherapy is a new anticancer therapy where the transient permeabilization of cells by electric field pulses induces significant increase antitumoral drug concentration and toxicity in tumor cells. It has been successfully applied to treatment tumors animals humans using antimitotic drugs. This report describes its first use equids skin tumors, mainly sarcoids. 57 have enrolled totalizing 248 located at different body positions. Treatment was performed under short duration general anesthesia. Intra tumoral injections cisplatin were followed intense directly on sites. Two four successive treatments two-week intervals. Objective antitumour responses obtained 94.7% treated lesions. All horses tolerated well. No adverse effect from observed even case high number pulses, or when several consecutive applied.
