摘要: The Merritt Timber Supply area in south-central British Columbia is taken as an example of a forest management unit which large areas mature and over-mature lodgepole pine are vulnerable to infestations the mountain beetle, Dendroctonus ponderosae Hopkins. Seventeen sites described 2,132 semiochemical baits (myrcene, trans-verbenol exo-brevicomin) were used 1984 component operations manipulate populations beetle. principal applications contain concentrate on baited trees prior logging, mop up residual beetles post-logging treatments. Zusammenfassung Semiochemische Masnahmen gegen den Borkenkafer Hopkins (Col., Scolytidae) als Komponente der Lodgepole-Kiefernwirtschaft im Gebiet des Merritt-Holzversorgungsareals von Columbia Als Versuchsgebiet fur ein Forstschutz-Management wurde das Merritt-Versorgungsareal sudlichen Teil Central gewahlt, wo grose Teile hiebsreifen und uberalterten Lodgepol-Kiefern anfallig Befall durch sind. Siebzehn Standorte werden beschrieben, auf denen 2132 semiochemische Koder (Myrcen, Trans-Verbenol Exo-Brevicomin) ausgebracht wurden Komponenten Forstschutz-Management-Masnahmen zur Beeinflussung Borkenkaferpopulationen. Hauptziel semiochemischen ist es, Kaferbefall noch vor Holzlagerung zu konzentrieren Behandlung gelagertem Holz restliche Kafer abzuschopfen.
