摘要: Matrix Metalloproteinases (MMPs) are a family of zinc-endopeptidases which can degrade extracellular matrix (ECM) components and play important roles in variety biological pathological processes. 6,6'-bieckol isolated characterized from an edible marine brown alga Ecklonia cava (EC), according to the comprehensive spectral analysis MS NMR data. Here influence on expressions MMPs was examined by zymography western blot via human fibrosarcoma cell line (HT1080). It is shown that significantly down regulated MMP-2 -9 dose-dependent manner. The viability behavior HT1080 cells were also investigated, our dates it suppressed migration 3D culture cells. Meanwhile, we explored several signal pathways may contribute this process, found suppressing might be due suppression NF-kappaB pathway. [BMB reports 2010; 43(1): 62-68].
