摘要: The integrated circuit industry continues to progress rapidly deepening the gap in between technological breakthroughs and electronic design automation industry. This is even more problematic context of physical design, last level applications technology. challenges meeting performance constraints necessitate innovation at algorithmic level, methodological level. This study presents a approach relying on model-driven engineering. Relying flexibility, adaptability Smalltalk environment we propose an agile framework enabling fast tool-flow prototyping. We illustrate our by using Madeo FPGA toolkit as legacy codebase that incrementally changed adopt this development strategy. Some pragmatic achievements are presented principal axes approach: improvements through plug-and-play routines, domain-model extension for emerging technologies, well model evolution toward meta-described environment.
