摘要: Cancer is a complex process that involves interactions between numerous cell types. In many cases, tumor expansion prevented by other cells in the microenvironment. The growth and morphology of genetically transformed can be normalized junctional communication with surrounding nontransformed cells. Tumor need to overcome this process, called “contact normalization”, before they realize their malignant metastatic potential. Here, we describe some fundamental aspects underlie contact normalization, how information used develop innovative ways detect treat forms cancer.
