摘要: A novel bioflocculant ZS-7 produced by Bacillus licheniformis X14 was investigated with regard to its synthesis and application low temperature drinking water treatment. The effects of culture conditions including pH, carbon source, nitrogen temperature, inoculum size shaking speed on production were studied. purified identified as a glycoprotein consisting polysaccharide (91.5%, w/w) protein (8.4%, w/w), an approximate molecular weight 6.89 x 10(4)Da. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) indicated the presence amino, amide, carboxyl, methoxyl hydroxyl groups. This showed good flocculating performance industrial potential for treatment water, maximum removal efficiencies COD(Mn) turbidity 61.2% 95.6%, respectively, which better than conventional chemical flocculants. Charge neutralization bridging proposed reasons enhanced based upon experimental observations.
