摘要: This paper focused on the effect of in-process cooling conditions (coolants and flow rate) temperature history, tool applied forces, wear resistance, mechanical, microstructural properties friction stir processing (FSP) Al–Si aluminum alloy. FSP was carried out using different compressed air water coolants with rates. The force measured experimentally an especially designed load measuring system. Optical microscopy used to probe microstructures FSPed samples. results showed that Si particles size significantly decreases increasing rate. Mechanical each sample were also determined hardness tests. Finally tests conducted a pin-on-disk tribometer.
