摘要: Electrospray tandem mass spectrometry approach is widely used for the rapid characterization of natural products. This paper describes gas-phased ESI-MS/MS fragmentation abietane-type diterpenoids and their novel dimeric conjugate, salvialeriafone (1) using both positive negative ion electrospray ionization quadropole time-of-flight (ESI-QqTOF-MS/MS) hybrid instrument. Diterpenoids are distributed throughout plant kingdom posses interesting biological activities. ESI-QqTOF-MS (positive mode) 1–6 under collision-induced dissociation spectrometric analysis (CID-MS/MS) showed characteristic losses water, carbonmonoxide propene molecules, while in mode carbon monoxide, methane molecules methyl radical. Results demonstrated differences product ions base peaks due to skeleton. A pattern was found be more prone form radical ions, as compared monomeric diterpenoids. The pathways fragments were proposed with aid HRESIMS. Extensive studies related 2–6 conducted identified. knowledge these will useful new dimers this class compounds.
