摘要: Solid nanoparticles have been applied as anti-wear and friction reduction additives for lubricants. In this paper, the flow characteristics of solid particles used lubricants were studied. A field visualizer based on high speed photography was developed. The particle trajectories in point contact area recorded using compared with simulated COMSOL. results analyzed tribological test results. It found that experimental matched well simulation results, decreased by 60% at inlet outlet zones area. to experience an unsteady both would contribute sedimentation those areas, which matches findings tribology test, showed more sedimented two areas.
