摘要: The influence of structural modifications in sterols and phospholipids on the rate polyene antibiotic-sterol interaction was studied. For filipin amphotericin B association with vesicles, a preferential found whose side chain length is close to that cholesterol. Introduction trans double bonds into sterol did not alter vesicles. delta 7-bond appears be critical importance B-sterol interaction, whereas 5-bond essential. These observations are relevant well-known effects cell membranes containing ergosterol compared those dependence rates sterol-polyene antibiotic phospholipid composition vesicles indicates may an inadequate model for reaching comprehensive understanding exerted biological by these agents.
